Happy Birthday Madelynn!

It's hard to believe that Madelynn turned two today! We celebrated our ladybug's birthday on Saturday. We had a great time with family and friends. Madelynn really enjoyed herself, which was fun to watch, once she realized that the gifts were hers, she didn't want to share them. Enjoy the new pics!

my first attempt at the Walgreen's game

Ok, so there's this thing called the "Walgreen's Game" where you basically work the coupon and registar reward system to get thing free or EXTREMELY cheap. Clarisse is amazing at this, and you can see from that link that she plays and wins most days. So this was my first trip to "play" the game and here's what I got...
my total out of pocket expense was $10.89
Highland milk-2.79 each
Walgreens chapstick-.99
Venus Embrace Razor-8.99
I got $6.00 in registar rewards for buying the razor, the razor was on sale as well, it was 8.99
and regular 10.99. So I got a total of $8.40 in savings. It's not as great as some people do but I think it's alright for my first try.
